To find : conjugate of Z

Solution

Let say complex number Z is x + iy

Z  = x  + i y

x - real part

y - imaginary

Conjugate of Z will be

x  - i y

complex number Z  = x  + i y  is purely real

=> y = 0

Z  = x  + i y   =  x  

Conjugate of Z = x - iy  = x  

x = x

=> Z = Conjugate of Z

conjugate of Z is Z
