Given: area of a trapezium= 1.6m2= 16000cm2
alt= 10 cm
Let one // side be x cm
another // side= x-80(8 dm= 80cm)
we know,
area= 1/2 * sum of // sides * alt
16000= 1/2 * (x+x-80) * 10
16000= 10 * (x-40)
1600= x- 40
x= 1640
thus, the two // sides of the trapezium is 1640cm and 1560cm[Ans]
