Parliament and Executive form the pillars of democracy where the former is concerned with legislation and the latter with policy designing and administration. India being a parliamentary democracy thus doesn’t have a rigid separation of powers but rather the executive stands derived from the legislature. Alongwith this to keep a check on hassle decisions the parliament exercises control over the executive.

2. Motions in Parliament where the ministers can be held accountable for any of their actions.
3. Rajya sabha which is the representation of states in the centre too plays an important role in control the Executive ,which is through the powers enjoyed by the upper house at par with Lok sabha in terms of passage of constitutional amendment bill , ordinary bill.
JUDGING THE CONTROL

2. The transgender bill passed by Rajya sabha remains locked in Lok sabha.
However, there are certain instances where the Parliament has been effective .
1. The Land acquisition, resettlement and rehabiliation bill 2015 which affected the rights of land owners remains in a draft position.
