As I reached the bus stop, someone waved his hand in front of me asking for a lift. I was in a hurry and did not want to stop. But, something about the person made me slow down. When he came towards the car, I had an uncanny feeling that I had seen him somewhere. He told me that he wanted to go to the same hospital I was heading to and requested me to take him as far as I could towards my destination. I told him that I was going to the same place and asked him to get in. He told me that his name was Rohit and that his brother was admitted there following an accident.

Incidentally, my father whose name was Mohit was in the hospital for the same reason. And he had a brother by the name Rohit. Was this by any chance my uncle? He had left home when I was a kid and so there was no way we could recognize each other. As I kept thinking about all this, the man said that his brother had a son called Amit who was an engineer by profession. Although he had not seen Amit for ages, his brother had told him everything. Rohit also said that he had landed in the city only that morning and when he had gone home, he found the house locked. Neighbors had told him the reason and he had rushed to the bus stop. To my surprise, I found that it was my uncle as I had thought. I told him who I was and we went to the hospital. There, we heard the good news that although my father was admitted, he was not hurt very badly.
