Root 4 Is rational no. As from the definition of rational number we have that numbers which can be represented in form of
p/q Where q is not equal to 0 And p,q are Co-Prime. Two number are Co-Prime if the only common positive integer which divides them is 1. Here root 4 can be expressed in p/q satisfying the conditions told above. i.e. (root 4)/1 Or 2/1 As root 4 Is 2. And 2 , 1 Are co prime.
