Stamen: It is a consist of a long slender like structure called filament and a bilobed structure called anther it's main function is to produce pollen grains that has two male gametes that is required for the reproduction in plants.
Anther is located inside the stamen that forms these male gametes in flowering plants .
The pollen grains that are produced from the anther of the stamen reaches the pistil / carpel.
