electric flux is proportional to the number of electric field lines going through a normally perpendicular surface. its use to measure flow of current in given area....

electric Field is imaginary line around electric charge body that force will exert over a body

elctric dipole is movment of charges or sepration of two charge.
permittivity is electric force b/w two charge in different mediums....

  • Electric flux, property of an electric field that may be thought of as the number of electric lines of force that intersect a given area.Electric field lines are considered to originate on positive electric charges and to terminate on negative charges.
  • A region around a charged particle or object within which a force would be exerted on other charged particles or objects.
  • An electric dipole is defined as a couple of opposite charges q and –q separated by a distance d.The midpoint q and –q is called the centre of the dipole. The simplest example of an electric dipole is a pair of electric charges of two opposite signs and equal magnitude separated by distance.
  • the ability of a substance to store electrical energy in an electric field.
