Dear Babar Ali,
I was immensely filled with pride when I saw the documentary aired by BBB. Your remarkable education project is transforming the lives of hundreds of poor children. I don’t have words to express my appreciation and admiration for your exemplary efforts in the field of spreading literacy and education in our country in spite of your meager resources. What a contrast between your dedication and spirit to work and the workers of Education Ministry. You don’t have resources, but you still are running a school successfully. Ironically, the Ministry has the resources, but not your spirit and dedication!
I have come to know that you are just 16 years old! You must be the youngest headmaster in the world, who is in charge of teaching hundreds of students in your family's backyard, where you run classes for poor children from your village. I also am quite amazed at your love for education and spreading it. First you attend your own school till afternoon. You also face so many hardships every day.
The best part is, in spite of these hardships you are running a school for poor children like Chumki. I am writing this letter to assure you that the Education Ministry of the State has decided to help you financially as well as academically. The Ministry will open a fully fledged school at the place where you are running your current school. All the facilities shall be provided to you. The school will work under your guidance. The Ministry will provide you a scholarship worth rupees 20000/- per month. The Ministry is also planning to confer on you Bengal Ratan award. But you will be intimated about it within a month. Once again I thank you for your remarkable dedication to the spreading of education.
