The 11th term amd 21 st term of an a.p is 16 and 29 respectively. Find the 1st term common diference and the 34th term.

T11 = 16
=> a + 10d = 16. equ. 1
And,
T21 = 29
=> a + 20d = 29. equ. 2
On subtracting equ 2 and 1, we get;
a + 20d - a - 10d = 29 - 16
=> 10d = 13
=> d = 13/10
=> d = 1.3
Now,
a + 10d = 16
=> a + 10*1.3 = 16
=> a + 13 = 16
=> a = 3
Hence,
T34 = a + 33d
=> T34 = 3 + 33*1.3
=> T34 = 3 + 42.9
=> T34 = 45.9......
And, the 1st term is 3.
