When the switch is plugged in (i.e. turned on), the light bulb would glow.

Explanation:

1. NaOH in solution form conducts electricity

2. When switch is plugged in, the circuit is completed, as the solution also acts as a conductor

3. The electricity which is supplied by the 6 volt battery passes through the completed circuit and results in glowing of the light bulb.
