Let x be the amount of 4N HCl you need. Therefore, 1-x is the amount of 10N HCl you need.
4x + 10(1-x) = 1(6)
4x + 10 - 10x = 6
- 6x = -4
6x = 4
x = 4/6 = 0.67 L
Therefore, 1-x = 1-0.67= 0.33 L
