first coin diameter (d) = 2 cm
area (a) = (π/4)×d² m²
= (π/4)× 2² cm²
= π cm²
another coin diameter (D) = 4 cm
area(A) = (π/4)×D² cm²
= (π/4)×4² cm²
= 4π cm²
area of the shade region ={A-a} cm²
=( 4π-π ) cm²
= 3π cm²
=3× 3.14 cm²
= 9.42 cm²
here is the correct answer..
