Planting something is only the act of putting it in the ground so it can grow. You can walk away and do nothing more about it, and you have done the planting part. Growing something is the whole process of planting, tending and caring for it until it is mature and ready to harvest.Dec 29, 2016

growing means which are planted in a small amount ...
for ex. when we grow plants in our garden ...
but cultivation means growing any one group of plant in large quantity...
for ex. the farmers grow their cereals in their respective farms...
