hey mate !!!

lens formula. is => 1/ V - 1/u = 1/f

means ,

1/ image distance - 1/ object distance = 1/ focal. length

this lens formula is valid in all situations for any a spherical lens.

for finding the correct answer you should use lens formula correctly

✴ you should care about sign of , object distance, focal length.

it may be +ve or - ve

positive or negative.

but image distance will be always in negative.
according to sign convention rule.
