=> If fertilization does not occur, the egg, the thickened lining of uterus along with its blood vessels r shed. The bleeding lasts for 4-6 days and is known as menstruation ( not mensuration ).
Menopause
=> The menstrual cycle stops at the age of 45-50. The stopping of menstrual cycle is known as Menopause. It marks the end of female reproductive phase.
