Babur, the great Mughal emperor was the flag bearer of the Mughal dynasty in India.
He was twelve years of age when he became the king of Kabul. Baburnama was written so that it could depict the life of Babur.
It describes some early background of Babur and his minor conquests and losses.
Then after a sabbatical, he launched a conquest of northwestern India and the latter part of the book describes how he established the Mughal Dynasty.
