What we need to find :-

Equation of the line

Procedure :-

Let us assume that the line has 2 points.

A ( 2 , 2 )

B ( x , y )

Slope of the line  =\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

                           ⇒  \frac{y-2}{x-2} =2

                           ⇒ y-2x+2=0

∴ The equation of the line is y-2x+2=0 .
